This page explains how content on The Pharma Project is researched, written, reviewed, and corrected. We publish it because a site covering medicines and business decisions should be open about how it works.
Our Editorial Principles
1. Accuracy before speed
We would rather publish an article a day late than publish one with a wrong licence fee or an incorrect dosage form. If we cannot verify a claim from a reliable source, we leave it out.
2. Sources are named and linked
Where we state a regulatory requirement, a government fee, or a processing timeline, we link to the official source. You should not have to take our word for anything you can check yourself.
3. Advertising does not influence content
Advertisements on this site are served automatically by Google AdSense. We do not accept payment to include a company in an article, to describe a product favourably, or to remove criticism. If a company advertises here, that has no bearing on our editorial coverage.
4. Company mentions are not endorsements
When we list manufacturers or franchise companies, we are providing information, not vouching for them. We do not audit facilities or verify certificates on your behalf. Verify licences directly with the issuing authority before entering any agreement.
5. We say what we do not know
Where information is uncertain, varies by state, or depends on your specific situation, we say so rather than giving a confident answer that might be wrong.
How We Research
Our sources, in order of preference:
- Government and regulatory bodies — CDSCO, Ministry of AYUSH, FSSAI, state drug controllers, and official gazette notifications
- International standards bodies — WHO guidelines for GMP and pharmaceutical standards
- Manufacturer product literature — package inserts and approved prescribing information for medicine articles
- Recognised medical references — established pharmacological references for drug information
- Direct industry experience — for practical detail like realistic MOQs, typical timelines, and what to check in an agreement, drawn from six years working with manufacturing and nutraceutical companies in the Punjab and Himachal belt
We do not use other blogs as a primary source. If we cannot trace a claim to a primary source, we do not publish it.
How Content Is Reviewed
Medicine and health articles
Every article covering a medicine, its uses, dosage forms, or side effects is reviewed by Rahul Choudhary, D.Pharm before publication.
The review checks:
- Whether the stated therapeutic uses are correct
- Whether dosage information is presented responsibly and not as a recommendation
- Whether significant side effects, contraindications, or interactions have been omitted
- Whether anything in the article could encourage a reader to self-medicate
- Whether the medical disclaimer is present and prominent
Reviewed articles carry a “Reviewed by” line near the top.
What this review is not: it is a factual accuracy check on published content. It is not a medical consultation, and it does not account for any individual reader’s medical history, current medications, or condition. Always consult a registered doctor or pharmacist about your own health.
Manufacturing, franchise, and regulatory articles
These are written and fact-checked by Vivek Singh against official sources. Every regulatory claim is verified against the relevant authority’s current published information at the time of writing.
Medical Content Standards
Because this site covers medicines, we hold that content to specific rules:
- Every medicine article carries a clear disclaimer advising readers to consult a doctor
- We never present dosage information as a recommendation to any individual
- We do not tell readers to start, stop, or change any medication
- We do not diagnose conditions or suggest medicines for symptoms
- We do not help anyone obtain prescription medicines, and we do not respond to such requests
- We name the drug class and mechanism where it aids understanding, without making therapeutic promises
- We do not publish claims about cures or guaranteed outcomes

Business Content Standards
For manufacturing and franchise content:
- Cost figures, MOQs, and margins are given as indicative ranges, never as quotations
- We state clearly that actual figures depend on product, volume, packaging, and negotiation
- We do not guarantee any business outcome, income, or return
- We advise readers to verify licences independently and have agreements reviewed by a lawyer
- Company listings are informational and are not endorsements
Updates and Freshness
Regulatory information ages quickly. Licence fees change, processes are revised, and Schedule requirements are amended.
- Every article displays a publication date, and a “Last updated” date once revised
- Regulatory and licensing articles are reviewed at least once a year
- When a rule changes materially, we update the article rather than leaving outdated information live
- Substantial revisions are noted so returning readers know what changed
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so.
To report an error, email info.thepharmaproject@gmail.com with the article link and a description of what is incorrect. If you can point to a source, that helps us act faster.
What happens next:
- We verify the claim against primary sources
- If it is wrong, we correct the article and update the revision date
- For significant factual corrections, we add a note explaining what was changed
- We reply to let you know the outcome
We aim to respond to correction requests within three working days.
Use of AI Tools
We use AI tools to assist with drafting, structuring, and translation, in the same way we use spellcheck and research software. Every article is then edited, fact-checked against primary sources, and given final approval by a named human, and medicine content additionally passes pharmacy review.
No article is published without a human having verified its factual claims. We mention this because we think readers deserve to know how content is produced.
